Who is Chris Ramsey?
For those who’ve been living under a rock, comedian Chris is probably best-known for his cheeky Geordie stand-up.

But after he and his wife Rosie decided to start working together, things went stratospheric.
With a hugely popular book, podcast and an imminent chat show, the Ramseys seem to have the whole marriage and career thing all worked out.
The BBC show will see the couple talking to other celeb pairings to see if they’ve got it worked out too. Clue: Probably not.
Where is Chris Ramsey from?
Chris was born in South Shields, Tyne and Wear in 1986. He studied film at university but dropped out before graduation to concentrate on his burgeoning comedy career.
These days he lives in Northumberland.
Since then he’s appeared all over the place, including the 2012 BBC comedy Hebburn with Vic Reeves.
He’s a regular on ITV’s Celebrity Juice and Comedy Central gave him his own show in 2017.
The son of a miner and an NHS worker, Chris is an only child and as Rosie put it to The Guardian, “a typical comedian”.
Who is Chris Ramsey’s wife Rosie?
Rosie Ramsey is an actress, singer and presenter and even once interviewed wrestling superstar John Cena.
She’s the second of three children and was born Rosie Winter, to her nurse mum and insurance agent dad.

The pair’s success has also seen Rosie become a social media superstar, with getting on for a million followers on Instagram alone.
How did they meet?
Chris and Rosie first met when they were teenagers, as they lived close to each other.

When did they get married?
The pair got married in 2014, at the beautiful Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle. There’s even a video of the day, and it’s clear they absolutely adore each other.
Chris proposed the day he got back from a trip to Canada, having spotted the perfect Tiffany ring at the airport on his way home.
As Rosie explained to The Finishing Touch, it just gets more romantic from there: “Chris proposed in the living room the day that he got home whilst we were watching a film in our pyjamas.
“He asked me to go fetch him a cup of tea from the kitchen whilst he decorated the living room with candles, it was so simple yet so perfect.
“We went round to our parents’ house half an hour after to share the happy news and opened a bottle of bubbly!”
The pair now have two sons, Robin, four, and Rafe, who was born in 2021.
What is Chris Ramsey’s net worth?

And while there’s no information for Rosie, we do know that the pair recently moved into a very swanky six-bedroom, £1.5 million home in Northumberland.
It boasts period features, a drawing room, library and a huge garden.
Rosie admitted: “Our dream house came up and we couldn’t resist.”

What’s the Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show about?
The pair are bringing their brutally honest relationship comedy to prime time and it promises to be hilarious.
A different celebrity couple will join Chris and Rosie each week, poking fun at everything life and love has thrown at them.
Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo of Made in Chelsea fame appear tonight (May 16).
There’ll be audience confessions and apparently, they’ll be asking each other, what’s the beef?
Chris isn’t bitter about his national chat show break coming courtesy of his relationship double-act, though.
As he told the BBC website: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have a show on the BBC.
“[I’m also] slightly annoyed that my years and years hard graft and solo work did nothing to achieve me this, but the moment I get my wife involved, it happens. But hey ho, you take what you can get.”
As Rosie so beautifully responded on behalf of wives everywhere: “You’re welcome, Chris.”
That’s not the best part though, as far as Chris is concerned.
During that Guardian interview, a conversation between the couple revealed something almost sweet: Chris started: “Do you know what I remembered the other day?
“Years ago, before we did the podcast, your mam would come round, and you would kick off at me because I would roast you in front of people. I’d be like: ‘Sandra, do you see what she’s done with this dishwasher?'”
Rosie replied: “Yes, you did that all the time. I hated it. Why would you just rip the [bleep] out of me in front of people?”
And Chris nailed it with his response: “And now we do it for a job!”
What is Chris and Rosie Ramsey’s podcast about?
