Dale Winton could be headed back to our screens along with his Supermarket Sweep.
Rights to the hit 90s game show have been acquired by FremantleMedia, a decade after its short lived revival, and 16 years after its original cancellation.
The show saw teams compete in several rounds of quizzes, before being sent on a rampage around the supermarket set, to fill their trolleys with as much as they could, in their allotted 60 seconds.

The original show ran on ITV from 1993 to 2001, and was brought back for one season in 2007.
Speaking to The Metro, FreemantleMedia’s Vasha Wallace said they would be looking to update the format for modern audiences.
“Modern technology allows us the opportunity to update the show, making it relevant for a 21st century audience.”
It’s not yet clear whether Dale himself will be involved in the new show, or if they’ll be looking for a new host.
If it’s new blood they want, it shouldn’t be too hard to find, with several celebrity fans of the show already tweeting their excitement.

The return of the shopping game show is just the latest in the nostalgia TV trend, with The Crystal Maze and The Generation Game both making a comeback.
Richard Ayoade is stepping into the hosting shoes for The Crystal Maze, while The Generation Game will be fronted by Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc.
We’d love to see either Rylan or Scarlett take on Supermarket Sweep.
