Coleen Nolan has revealed her sister Maureen has gone through with plans to have face-lift surgery.
During an appearance on Loose Women last week, Maureen told her sister that she wanted to undergo the procedure because years of family tragedy have aged her.
Even though Coleen didn’t approve of her sister’s decision, she still went along to support Maureen on Tuesday.

Coleen told her fellow panellists: “Yesterday was the big day. [Maureen] went and had [a face-lift] and I went along to support her in the end because it’s her decision and her life and I love her whatever.”
Coleen, 53, said Maureen’s surgery was six hours long and she didn’t realise how “emotional” she would get seeing her sister go through the process.
“I was fine all day and when she went in [for the surgery],” said Coleen.
“But when she came out and I saw her afterwards, she just looked like she had came out of a boxing ring.
“[Her face] was so swollen and she was so uncomfortable.”
Coleen continued: “I got really choked up, no one wants to see their sister like that.
“But then, surprisingly, I felt really angry because I wanted to say [to Maureen], ‘why would you do that to yourself to look aesthetically pleasing?’ For me, she’s beautiful anyway.”
“I had all these emotions of happy for her because that’s what she wants, and then angry because I thought what if it had gone wrong,” she added.
Coleen said Maureen was really nervous ahead of the surgery and was “thrilled” that Coleen turned up to support her.
When asked what Maureen’s surgeon was like, Coleen joked: “Well, he had just flown in from his house in the south of France and he was very tanned.
“He walked out and I thought, ‘I may consider six hours!'”

After joking around, Coleen said she knows that Maureen is going to look even more stunning when she returns to the show to show off the results.
Last week, Maureen insisted having the surgery is just the same as maintaining a car.
She told the panel: “I can’t understand all the hoo-ha. For me, it’s just maintenance. You maintain your car, why don’t you maintain your looks?”
The singer added: “It’s only been the last 10 to 12 years, with all that’s happened in the family.
“I always said if I looked in the mirror and thought I’m depressed then I would have something done, and that day has come.”
