Coleen Nolan has admitted that parts of her life have become a little harder now since announcing her divorce from second husband Ray Fensome in February last year.
The Loose Women panellist revealed to her co-stars that there are still some things in her life she wishes her former husband of 17 years was around to help with.

During Monday’s show, the 53-year-old confessed: “There’s obviously areas where you miss someone. He was brilliant at DIY and I’m rubbish.
“And he was just good at sorting out when things went wrong, things broke down or he needed to speak or have a go at someone he was brilliant.
“All that side of my life, he took care of. Now I’m like, what do you mean I have to phone someone? I’m so mortified.”

However, the presenter said despite missing having a man about the house, she is “loving life” since becoming single – especially as she can now grow her own menagerie of animals.
She said: “I’m not knocking my marriage with Ray, we had a great time, but the main thing I’m enjoying after the divorce is that I’m now totally independent.
“I don’t have to ask anyone’s opinion, anyone’s permission, I can watch what I want. I went out this Christmas, I bought my new dog. I’ve got two little kittens, which of course I couldn’t have before because he was allergic.”
She added: “I’m getting some pygmy goats and a miniature donkey. Who needs a man?”

It is almost a year since Coleen and Ray split, with Coleen tearfully revealing the real reason for the split last February. She confessed: “It’s for the sake of both our future happiness, and for our children, especially our daughter Ciara.”
Coleen has only just returned to Loose Women after being forced to leave the show after receiving death threats after a on-air spat with Kim Woodburn.
Coleen revealed to the Mirror’s Notebook magazine: “You have to be made of steel to not be affected by hurtful comments.
“But when people were saying things like, ‘I hope you die of cancer like your sister,’ it was time to stop.”
