Admit it, you’ve been secretly rooting for Kate Connor and Rana Nazir ever since it became totally obvious that Rana was falling for her best friend.
They’ve had a couple of not-quite-really kisses, but tonight Kate – who’s been holding herself back – pounced on Rana and snogged her face off – while Zeedan was upstairs!
Poor unwitting Zeedan even set the girls up, hoping they’d kiss and make up before the wedding. Well, that back-fired.
The joy was short-lived though when Zeedan interrupted and Kate fled.
Later Rana arrived at the Bistro without her wedding ring on and, for a moment, Kate thought she’d left Zee. Rana then told Kate that she has feelings for her but still loves Zeedan.
An emotional Kate told Rana to stop messing with her head. Will Rana actually turn up for the wedding??
Come on already, Kate’s clearly the one Rana really wants to be with.
And it’s what fans want, judging by Twitter reaction.
One excited viewer wrote: “#KANA Finally Kate is giving in to her feelings! Still have a feeling it’s going to be a bumpy ride! @Faye_Brookes @BhavnaLimbachia @itvcorrie #corrie.”
A second said: “I like Zeedan but I really ship Kate and Rana! #SorryNotSorry #Corrie.”
A third shared: “Blimey! That was some kiss! @Faye_Brookes @BhavnaLimbachia #Kana #Corrie.”
Sucks to be Zeedan though.
Elsewhere, Nicola arrived to tell Eileen and Phelan that she’s planning a new life for her and the baby – in Australia.
Phelan tried to weasel his way back into her good books, but Nicola was having none of it – telling him to never contact her again.
The psycho builder then spied Nic having a cosy chin wag with Anna and if looks could kill, Anna Windass would be six-foot under ground.
Phelan clearly didn’t chill out much on his holiday as he’s still gunning for Anna and got her into more hot water with the police when he told them he’d seen her slap Seb in the face just before his accident.
Weatherfield Police may as well set up a pop-up station on the Street this week with the amount of residents paying a visit to the cop shop.
Billy Mayhew and Adam Barlow also dropped in to give Billy’s statement about the robbery.
On the advice of Adam, he denied being involved and, as the evidence is circumstantial, that seems to be it for now.
But Billy’s Catholic guilt will surely get the better of him in coming weeks when he finds out the truth about the car that was hit while he was getting away from the robbery.
Will Billy be swapping his dog-collar for regulation prison wear?
