Coronation Street producer Iain MacLeod had better listen up, because fans of the ITV soap have a few characters they want rid of.
And they mean now!
Die-hard Corrie fans joined a forum discussion about the characters they think are past their sell-by date, and some of them might surprise you!

The fan-site asked: “You’re the new Coronation Street producer – who would you kill off?”
And the top five names were Sean Tully, Emily Bishop, Kate Connor and Rana Nazir – “all they do is whinge” and Jude.
Jude was criticised for being boring, with the Corrie crusader saying: “Along with Robert Preston, Jude Appleton is one of the dullest men in soap. Not even being son to the wonderful Mary can lighten the doom when he appears on screen. And while we’re on the subject of Jude, why not get rid of his dreadful wife Angie too.”
Ouch!

Sean, who is currently involved in a homelessness storyline, was dismissed like this: “No-one likes him. He’s past his sell-by date and I don’t understand what he’s still doing on the show.”
Other fans were quick to join the longed-for assassination of Weatherfield residents, with a surprising number targeting Michelle Connor and Robert Preston.
One imagined: “A terrible fireball engulfs Roy’s Rolls. Not only does it mean the place FINALLY gets refurbished, it also takes the lives of Ken Barlow, Robert and Michelle, Sean, and Gina. They are mourned for about fourteen minutes.”
Wow, these Corrie fans are ruthless!
Another blasted: “Yes to everything you said and can Michelle and Robert get jobs on a cruise ship and sail to Timbuktu.”
Many readers agreed, with another commenting: “There are very few that I would keep! Sean and Tracy [Barlow] have become parodies of their characters so they can both go.”
Ex-Emmerdale boss Iain took over as Corrie producer last month after Kate Oates stepped down following two controversial years on the show.
