Eagle-eyed ITV viewers spotted a bit of a blunder during last night’s Coronation Street – and were quick to point out the mistake on social media!
Well it’s nice to have the upper hand occasionally, isn’t it?
During scenes which aired on Wednesday (18 April), fans saw an error during a scene between Liz McDonald and Moira Pollock at Rosamund Street Medical Centre… But did you spot it?

As Liz told off her boss for looking up Carla Connor’s age on the surgery’s database, some viewers couldn’t help noticing something about the scene which didn’t quite add up.
Unlike a usual doctor surgery where the phone is ringing off the hook, the phone on the receptionist’s counter didn’t ring once.
It wasn’t even plugged in!
One fan tweeted: “Whoops #Corrie Phone not plugged in at Docs.”

Just a few weeks ago, the soap was criticised for another error – also related to the doctor’s surgery.
When a troubled Craig Tinker finally admitted he was struggling with OCD, he called his GP and immediately got an appointment for the same day.
Fans were quick to point out that this RARELY happens in reality. But at least the phone was working that day!
