Coronation Street fans have predicted when we’ll see villain Pat Phelan’s real downfall after he was revealed to be alive and well on Easter Monday.
The murdering builder had seemingly fell to an icy death on Good Friday, but had actually managed to cheat the Grim Reaper and make his way to a B&B in Ireland.

Pictures of actor Connor McIntyre filming on location were also doing the rounds which showed the killer living in a caravan – complete with a silvery beard and a new identity.
For now Phelan seems to be biding his time before making a final visit to the cobbles to challenge those who betrayed him.
It’s not yet known if Phelan will claim another life before he bows out of the soap for good but fans reckon they’ve worked out when his ultimate downfall will be.
They think it’ll all kick off during the week of the Britain’s Got Talent live finals.
There is some reasoning behind this as Coronation Street traditionally airs a week of episodes at the later time of 9pm during the finals.
The later post-watershed slot means they can air things they might not be able to get away with in their earlier time slots.
In the past the dramatic week has aired Tina McIntyre’s murder, the fire at the flats which killed Kal Nazir and Maddie Heath and, er, Nick Tilsley getting stuck in quicksand.
And fans think 2018’s late night week will be all about Phelan.
“Oh come on!!!! Of course Phelan will return to exact his revenge. Probably the week when the BGT Semi Finals air so that can use the 9pm timeslot to their violent advantage,” said one viewer on Twitter.
Another added: “Caught up on Corrie and i knew on Friday that phelan wouldn’t be dead. He is coming for them Bgt week. Knew it was a random time for his departure. The serious drama always happens bgt week and Xmas.”
A third simply predicted: “Phelan will return week of the bgt finals. Mark my words.”
While a fourth said: “Of course Pat Phelan wasn’t dead with a week of bgt finals and 9pm Corrie on the horizon!”
Oh come on!!!!! Of course Phelan will return to exact his revenge. Probably the week when the BGT Semi Finals air so they can use the 9pm timeslot to their violent advantage. Just hope then they have the balls to finally finish him off.
