There’s trouble in store for Anna Windass when Eileen Grimshaw gets her hands on some new evidence tonight that’s set to turn the current GBH trial upside down.
Last week we saw Eileen starting to doubt her husband’s innocence following Seb’s revelation that he thinks Phelan killed Luke.
She even went to visit Anna in prison to try and get some answers – and for a moment it looked like the scales might have finally fallen from her eyes.

As Seb gave evidence in court, supporting his supposed ‘attacker’ it looked like Anna was about to walk out of court a free woman… until tonight!
This evening’s double bill of Corrie brings new hope for Phelan (and another nail in Anna’s coffin) when Eileen comes across some CCTV footage which shows Tim Metcalfe and Gary Windass threatening Seb outside Streetcars.
After Eileen shares the new-found evidence with the police, Tim is called as a witness in court and he’s forced to admit that he and Gary asked Seb to change his story.
While Anna realises this is bad news for her as Seb’s evidence will now be worthless, Phelan looks like the cat who got the cream – knowing this is bound to work in his favour.
With this huge plot twist, will Anna now be found guilty of a crime she didnt commit?
Could serial killer Phelan walk away Scott free?
And where does this also leave Eileen? Could she now believe her husband is innocent – inadvertently leaving herself vulnerable to his murderous ways?

Corrie continues tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
