Gail believes in curse after Audrey’s mugging in Coronation Street

Has he really cursed the family?

Ever since clairvoyant Rosemary Piper arrived in Weatherfield to reveal that Richard Hillman has put a curse on the Platt family, Gail has been convinced it’s true.

And when Audrey ends up in hospital following a brutal mugging, Gail is convinced it is proof of the curse from her dead husband striking again!

Audrey, Roy and Brian all sit and listen patiently as Gail reveals that Rosemary’s told her Richard has left the Platt family doomed for all time.

But the gang are particularly skeptical when Gail reveals the medium has offered to help lift the curse… for a large sum of money.

But despite the fact that clearly no one believes Gail, they all decide to see what the clairvoyant has to say for herself.

Rosemary is surprised when she sees the group all waiting for her at the salon, but it doesn’t take long for her to regain her composure and insist that Gail needs her help getting rid of Richard once and for all.

But when Audrey, Roy and Brian leave the salon, disaster strikes when a gang of youths approach, grabbing Audrey’s handbag and making a run for it.

Roy and Brian try to step in, but the gang leave the friends in a bad way – and Audrey ends up in hospital with her leg in plaster!

Gail is mortified when she discovers what has happened and is more convinced than ever that Rosemary really is in touch with her murdering dead husband – and that something needs to be done.

But is Rosemary really in contact with people from beyond the grave – or is she just in Weatherfield to see how much money she can make?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
