Ok, we’ll admit that when we first heard about Bethany Platt taking up lap dancing to get over her horrors at the hands of Nathan Curtis, we were unsure.
But the troubled teen does enjoy the job and her confidence has been slowly building back up, even though many see her career choice as seedy.

Even her mum Sarah seems to have accepted it’s what Bethany needs to do to come to terms with being groomed for sex by her evil ex-boyfriend.
It looks like Bethany’s about to face another blow next week however when Craig’s police partner, Jess, is called to a disturbance at Tassels, which is the club Bethany works at.
When she arrives at the scene, Jess is frustrated to realise that Craig is responsible for the fracas and tells him she needs to report his girlfriend for underage lap dancing.
Bethany gets sacked from the club (again) and this time she’s raging at Craig, assuming he’s the one who blew the whistle.
Is it all over for them?
Later in the week Craig arrives at Bethany’s with a bunch of Valentine’s roses for her, but is it too little too late?
Meanwhile, Bethany occupies herself with taking Sarah’s mind off of Gary Windass.
She starts by setting her mum up on a date with Aidan Connor – could this be the start of something special?
Bethany gives Sarah a makeover and surprises her with the news she’s set her up with Aidan.
Sarah agrees on one condition – Bethany makes things up with Craig.
