With David Platt in pieces after being sexually assaulted by former friend Josh Tucker, things are looking bleak for the sulky stylist.
And next week things get even worse when David breaks up with girlfriend Shona.
He can’t deal with her wanting to talk about why he’s changed so much recently and instead of telling her the truth, he throws her out.
Increasingly isolated and unable to cope, David’s pushing away anyone who tries to get close and it seems nothing can drag him out of his downward spiral.
And things get even worse when Josh corners him out the back of the Rovers and tries to intimidate him. Will David tell anyone what’s happened to him?
It seems not. Until, that is, he thinks someone else is in danger from Josh.
David’s worried when he sees Josh invite Chesney back to his place for lunch and concerned an oblivious Ches could become evil Josh’s next victim.
But David can’t bring himself to warn Chesney, and instead he takes out his frustrations on a very confused Gary and Sarah who have no idea why David’s so upset.
But it’s not over yet. Instead, David heads off to the garage and bravely confronts his rapist.
He stands his ground and tells Josh that he’s going to report him to the police.

But when David spots Josh flirting with Alya later, he’s shocked.
And he’s even more shocked as the manipulative Mr Tucker tells him that him having a girlfriend will mean the police aren’t likely to believe David’s claims about the rape.
Will Josh ever face justice for what he did?
