Eileen Phelan is left fearing for her life next week when strange things start happening around her. First someone sticks nails in her car tyres, and then she hears someone sinister lurking upstairs in her house.
But while Eileen thinks that it’s someone with a vendetta against her for what Phelan did – little does she know her murderer husband is actually still alive. Could Phelan be back for revenge?
Ever since that fateful night when the truth was revealed about Phelan, Eileen has been a shell of her former self.

Not only is she dealing with the fact she was married to a killer and didn’t realise, but she also is hiding the secret that she could have saved him from his death plunge into the icy sea.
But while she struggles with the fact that she aided her murdering husband’s death, viewers know he is actually alive and surprisingly well considering how far he fell from that sea wall.
Next week sees Eileen struggling with day-to-day life – leaving Summer worried that she is getting depressed.
Summer desperately tries to hide all the nasty comments about Eileen that have appeared online since Phelan’s killing spree was revealed – but her efforts are all in vain when Gail helpfully lets the cat out of the bag.
Perhaps she’s hoping to bond over the fact they’ve both had murderers for husbands?
But it’s a bit too soon for Eileen to see the funny side – especially when she finally gets out of the house at last, only to come back again later to find someone has vandalised her car.
But nails in her tyres are the least of Eileen’s problems when she and Nicola return to the house, only to find there is an intruder inside.

Later Eileen strikes up a friendship with Seb’s mum Abi – and as the pair chat, Eileen even agrees to let her stay the night as she has nowhere else to go.
But while the pair are bonding, someone is removing the spare key for number 11 from under a pot plant.
Now, who in Weatherfield would know that’s there? Is Phelan back or is there a much less terrifying explanation?
