What will Tyrone think when he discovers the truth?

Fiz and Tyrone are hurtling towards the mother of all showdowns. And, this week, Fiz’s behaviour pushes Tyrone even further away.

Viewers will be left wondering if one of Weatherfield’s favourite couples can survive this major hurdle…

Already rocked to the core by Tyrone’s one-night stand with Gemma, their relationship suffers another blow when Fiz is forced to admit the truth about daughter Hope’s bad behaviour.

In dramatic scenes this week, Tyrone is pushed to the edge by what he thinks is Ruby’s antics.

First he loses his keys and directs his frustration at Ruby after Hope tells him she’s hidden them.

Then Hope blocks the sink and water drips through the ceiling into the lounge… at the end of his tether, Tyrone lashes out and smacks Ruby, believing her to be the culprit – because that’s what Fiz has allowed him to believe.

As Ruby rushes upstairs in tears, Fiz is horrified by what she’s witnessed and is forced to confess the truth to an unsuspecting Tyrone – that it was Hope all along causing the problems.

Understandably, Tyrone is livid that Fiz has been lying to him and allowing poor Ruby to take the blame.

Tyrone is left with a partner he doesn’t trust anymore and a daughter who is scared of him because he hit her.

When Ruby refuses to let him take her to school, she asks Gemma to take her… could this mean that Ty and Gemma end up getting even closer?

Meanwhile, Fiz decides to take Hope to the doctors to try and get her some help. But is it too little too late?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
