Coronation Street favourite Fiz Stape will be left reeling this week when she discovers that it’s her daughter Hope behind the naughty behaviour she’s blamed Tyrone Dobb’s daughter Ruby for.
Fiz was seen fleeing her home last week, whisking Hope off to stay with her brother Chesney because she couldn’t be under the same roof as Ruby any longer.

Believing Ruby to be dangerous, Fiz left Tyrone to find comfort in the arms of Gemma Winter.
But Fiz – played by Jennie McAlpline – will be left reeling when she makes a shocking discovery about Hope and realises she’s got it totally wrong.
The mum-of-one spots Hope about to push her cousin Joseph down the stairs and it hits Fiz that it’s been Hope the whole time.
When Tyrone calls round to apologise to her for lying about Ruby’s behaviour and promising he’s going to try and get his daughter some therapy, Fiz makes a snap decision to keep the truth from him.
This will come after Fiz discovers that Tyrone has cheated on her with Gemma.
Does this spell the end for one of the best-loved couples on the cobbles?
Jennie spoke to Metro.co.uk about Fiz’s decision.
She revealed: “When she finds out it is Hope it is after she has found out about the affair and so Fiz’s whole world falls apart in the space of about three days.”
Jennie continued: “Fiz keeps it a secret from Tyrone, which I think it is a bit of a bad move, she thinks about all the things she has said about Ruby – like that she needs to go and see someone and that there is something wrong with her – it’s awful but she doesn’t want to think that about her own child. That’s the truth of it.”

Fiz has already accused little Ruby of being a mini version of her psycho mum Kirsty Soames, will those words come back to haunt her?
