Toyah Battersby wants nothing more than to become a mum in Coronation Street.
But now she’s set for heartbreak after realising her baby pact with sort-of-sister Eva Price might not be in Eva’s best interests.
Viewers know how Eva fell pregnant with ex Aidan Connor’s baby after the pair’s bitter split.
After Toyah and Peter Barlow’s surrogate Jacqui lost their baby, Eva, terrified of becoming a mum, hatched a plan to give birth in secret and let the couple raise her baby as their own.
Next week Toyah will realise that Eva has been having second thoughts and set about trying to convince Eva to give things with Aidan another go.

She will tell her: “The situation’s changed. Our agreement was based on you being one hundred per cent certain and that obviously isn’t the case anymore.
“Let’s make this simple – are you prepared to deny Aidan the chance to be a father?”
“If there’s even the slightest chance of the pair of you making a go of it then you’ve got to grab it,” she told her, hiding her own heartbreak.
Handing over the scan picture, Toyah fought back tears with Eva as she tried to convince her to try again.
Actress Catherine Tyldesley who plays pregnant Eva revealed to ITV.com: “Toyah is totally genuine, she is a very genuine person and hates lying just as much a Eva.
“She wouldn’t behave like this if she wasn’t so desperate to become a mum.
“She also went through the whole wedding scenario with Eva and saw how in love she was and how desperate she was when she found out about the affair.

“She really does care about Eva and she realises that although they had a plan, Eva should go for it with Aidan if she thinks it will work out.”
