Former Coronation Street star Ben Price is heading back to the cobbles and reprising his role as Nick Tilsley, reports The Sun.

Ben quit the role last year and Nick bowed out after a near-death quicksand experience left him needing to get away from Weatherfield.
Nick had become increasingly jealous as girlfriend/ ex-wife Leanne Battersby began to bond with Steve McDonald who is the father of her baby Oliver.
A Corrie source told The Sun: “Exactly how Nick will be brought back into the fray is still to be decided.
“But the Platts, and in particular Nick, are a massive part of the Corrie family and always at the heart of some of the show’s biggest storylines.
“Producers are currently coming up with a bombshell way for him to come back to Weatherfield.”
He could be heading back to reunite with Leanne who he was twice married to but split last year when he told her she deserved better.
Or maybe he’s heard that his other ex-wife Carla Connor is back in town and wants to confront her again?
He could also be heading back to support his younger brother David Platt who is currently struggling after being raped by his friend Josh Tucker.
David is currently suffering in silence but perhaps Nick could be the one to help him confront what’s happened to him.

The storyline has already seen a brief return for Sean Wilson as David’s dad Martin Platt earlier this year.
