Coronation Street star Jennie McAlpine has revealed that she’s filmed a huge cat fight between her character Fiz Stape and new love rival Gemma Winter.
Entertainment Daily caught up with the actress at a press day recently, and got all the details about the moment Fiz finds out that Tyrone has cheated on her with Gemma.
Fiz has been away from the cobbles since before Christmas, but viewers will know that is because Jennie flew to the Australian jungle to star in last year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
While Fiz was away looking after her sick mum, Cilla, Tyrone has been left looking after their two children, Ruby and Hope.

But the pressure has been on for the dad as Ruby’s unruly behaviour has started getting worse.
After offloading about his problems to Gemma, next week sees the pair sharing a steamy kiss, one that’s set to lead to them spending the night together.
Jennie revealed that while Fiz is obviously devastated when she finds out what has been going on, Tyrone isnt the only person she blames…
“In absolute traditional Coronation Street way she hates Gemma even more than she hates Tyrone.”
And there’s more – the pair’s cat fight is set to leave fans thrilled!
Jennie revealed: “There is a cat fight with a difference – there is violence involved. Chesney is there, Rita is there, Gemma is obviously there and Fiz – Tyrone turns up but it is a bit late!”
Now our money would usually be on Gemma winning that fight – but Jennie doesn’t agree…
“Yes, but Fiz is a woman scorned. And don’t forget she has been dragged up by Cilla!”
Corrie has become famous for its cat fights over the years – who could forget the fight on the cobbles between Gail and Eileen – complete with dressing gowns?
But Jennie has hinted this is going to be a fight with a difference…
“It is a new one – we want people to be surprised. It is one that hasn’t happened before on Corrie.
It is in two locations – it spills from one to another. But it ends up on the street, yes. It was great fun to film – it is a daft one, we had to put some light and shade into this storyline, didn’t we?”
