Coronation Street SPOILER: Leanne grows increasingly suspicious of Eva and Toyah

Will she guess the truth?

It’s a comedy of errors in Corrie next week when Leanne takes action after becoming increasingly suspicious of Eva and Toyah.

Over the past few weeks, Eva Price’s secret pregnancy has been in danger of being exposed, as inquisitive Leanne Battersby begins to smell a rat – or rather a baby bump.

Or, to put it another way, Leanne’s suspicions are growing at the same rate as Eva’s tummy!

In scenes to air this week, Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) starts to worry when her half-sister Leanne (Jane Danson) begins asking some awkward questions…

Noticing that Eva and Toyah (Georgia Taylor) have been behaving oddly, she suspects they have a secret – and becomes determined to discover what it is…

Of course fans of the ITV soap know that Eva is expecting Aidan Connor’s baby, but she’s agreed to give Toyah the child.

And it’s only a matter of time before the secret pact is exposed!

Next week, Leanne – feeling a tad left out – turns sleuth and decides to follow Eva and Toyah to their so-called ‘language class’.

However, when she announces she’s joining them, they visibly squirm and are forced to quickly think up a Plan B…

Unable to go to the ante-natal class as they’d hoped without giving the game away to Leanne, the girls find themselves cajoled into a French lesson with Ken!

With the lies growing by the day, it’s only a matter of time before Leanne guesses the truth about Eva’s pregnancy.

And how will Peter react when he discovers the real surrogate mum miscarried the baby, and that Toyah has hatched up an alternative option…

Something tells us he might be a bit miffed!

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
