Ever since Coronation Street fave Gemma Winter starting romancing handsome brewery heir, Henry Newton, we’ve had our suspicions that he might be too good to be true.
These fears were realised a couple of weeks back when scheming Henry revealed he was only dating the kebab shop worker as a bet with his equally nasty mate.
How cruel.

We hoped she’d get her fairytale ending though when Gemma threw a surprise party for him last week which he seemed to be genuinely grateful for and delighted by.
But, even though Henry does seem to have been won over by Gemma’s kindness and charm, her world is about to come crashing down when Chesney Brown discovers the truth.
And he doesn’t take it well.
When Henry and Gemma go on a double date with his mate Hugo, Chesney overhears Hugo saying some horrible things about his co-worker and friend.
Ches is left stunned when Henry doesn’t step in to defend his so-called girlfriend.
Then they start talking about the bet and the cruel truth hits Ches – who then decides Gemma deserves to know the truth.
Even if it breaks her heart.
Gemma, obviously, is devastated when she learns about the bet – but luckily Ches is there to help pick up the pieces of her broken heart.
And when Henry turns up, trying to win Gemma back, she’s stunned when Chesney punches him!
