Ryan Connor is returning to Weatherfield, and he looks very different to the last time we saw him!
Actor Ryan Prescott has taken over the role of Michelle’s son and has given fans a sneak peak before he appears on screen – and revealed the date he’ll first be seen.
The character is coming back in time for his mum’s wedding to Robert Preston and also in the tragic aftermath of his cousin Aidan’s suicide.
Ryan has revealed he’ll be in “a bit of a state”.

Unable to contain his excitement at joining the cast, Ryan shared a photo on Instagram to his 669 followers.
Alongside the snap of him in front of The Rovers, he wrote: “From one Ryan to another…Ryan Connor is heading back to the cobbles after 5 years. Arriving in a bit of a state, there’s no other entrance in his repertoire…keep an eye open for him- 25th May 2018.”

Fans were quick to comment, with one enthusing: “I’ve been waiting for Ryan to come back for years! He needs to come and save the connors.”
Another added: “Look forward to you joining the Corrie team. Loved you in Emmerdale.”
Some of you might recognise the new Ryan; he’s previously portrayed Flynn Buchanan in Emmerdale and Liam Slade in Doctors.
He’ll be replacing Sol Heras, who played Ryan from 2012 to 2013 before the character left the show in disgrace to become a DJ in Ibiza.

Ryan will be arriving at a crucial time for his mum. Not only has Aidan’s death cast a dark shadow over Michelle’s nuptials, but her wedding is about to go down in Corrie history.
Michelle will be shot on her wedding day, in a special episode aired AFTER the 9pm watershed.
She will be caught in the crossfire when murdering bleep Pat Phelan returns to Weatherfield.
Veteran fans of the ITV soap will know that Michelle (Kym Marsh) raised Ryan as her own after giving birth in 1992, but later discovered that a hospital mix-up meant he wasn’t her son after all.
