Nicola Rubinstein is back on Coronation Street for the aftermath of Pat Phelan’s exposure storyline.
The social worker – played by actress Nicola Thorp – will return to the cobbles on Monday, it has been confirmed.
She was last seen in Weatherfield earier this month, fleeing to her sister’s home in Leeds after Phelan rumbled her plan to expose his crimes.
But now having presumably heard of what her father has done, Nicola is back.

She already knows he is a rapist, having raped her mother, and a conman who fraudulently took his neighbours for thousands of pounds.
And now she’s about to learn he’s a serial killer too.
The police will arrive on the street on Monday and swarm, wanting to search every single place Phelan has ever worked or been in.
The Nazirs will be left reeling after what they discover.

With the police everywhere, Tim Metcalfe has to break the news to Zeedan, Yasmeen and Rana that Phelan has killed Luke.
Yasmeen will send Zeedan and Rana to find Alya and break the news before the police get a chance, no doubt breaking her heart all over again.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
