Pat Phelan returns from holiday in next week’s Coronation Street and instead of getting stuck into the washing and unpacking, he makes a beeline for Anna Windass and continues to make her life a misery.

Top of his ‘To-Do’ list, is continuing to frame Anna for the attempted murder of Seb Franklin.
We’ve already seen him try to use the power of auto-suggestion to plant a false memory in Seb’s head, while he was in hospital.
He’s also headed into Todd and Adam’s offices to drop Anna’s earring there, placing her in the vicinity of Seb when he had his accident.
When the police quiz Phelan next week, he twists the knife further by telling them he saw Anna physically assault Seb in the cafe, in the lead up to him falling off his ladder.
But while his plan to stitch up Anna seems to be going swimmingly, Phelan’s relationship with his newly-discovered daughter, Nicola, isn’t going quite as well.
She tells the evil builder that she’s moving to Australia, after seeing her dad’s true colours.
She recently found out that she wasn’t conceived through an affair, as Pat had led her to believe, but he’d forced himself on her mother.
She also discovered the truth about Phelan’s indecent proposal to Anna, when he blackmailed her into sleeping with him to save her family.
Nicola asks Anna if she can explain to Seb why she’s left, but Phelan sees them having a cosy chat and is unable to contain his hatred for Anna.
He devises a new plan and tells Anna that Gary is the father of Nicola’s unborn baby.
Phelan offers Anna a new deal, but after the last deal she made with him, will she accept his terms again?
