Coronation Street’s Roy Cropper will certainly come a cropper when conman Lewis Archer arrives back in Weatherfield in upcoming episodes.

In new pap pics taken on set actors David Neilson who plays the cafe owner and Nigel Havers who returns as charming Lewis can be seen grappling on the ground.
Lewis turns up on the Street in a posh new car – probably paid for with the money he stole from Gail Platt – and Roy leans into the motor and grabs the keys from him.
The posh con artist is then forced to get out of the vehicle and gets into a fight with Roy to get his keys back.
The two men can be seen rolling around the floor in the photos, and there’s not a stunt person in sight.
And we thought they were both gentlemen.
It was announced earlier this month that Lewis would be returning to the ITV soap and he probably won’t get a warm welcome after conning both Gail and her mum, Audrey Roberts.
And it’s thought that Lewis will try to make another play for Audrey’s heart during his new stint on the Street.
A source revealed to The Sun: “Smooth-talking Lewis will have his eye on Audrey.”
Nigel was last seen as smooth-talking conman Lewis back in 2013 when he ripped Gail Platt off after convincing her to take out a huge loan against her house and telling her they were going to start a new life together in Greece.

Instead he stole the money and left a video message for the Platts, telling Gail he never loved her and was getting her back for ruining his relationship with Audrey.
