Coronation Street’s Shona Ramsey will turn detective in an attempt to work out why her boyfriend David Platt has been acting so strangely. She has no idea that he’s in turmoil after he was drugged and raped by his friend.
In upcoming scenes, Shona, played by Julia Goulding, will try and figure out what happened to her partner played by Jack P. Shepherd.
Viewers of the ITV soap will see her unravel more about rapist Josh Tucker’s past, as the aftermath of his horrific attack on David starts to unfold.
The amateur detective goes to the garage where the mechanic, who is played by Ryan Clayton, previously worked and hopes to get some answers.
However, David’s girlfriend doesn’t get the reaction she hoped for when she mentions Josh to one of his former colleagues.
Instead the man refuses to speak and storms off, leaving her even more confused and determined to discover the truth.
New pap pictures show Julia filming scenes in Weatherfield where her character, Shona is questioning Dec while he looks awkward before cutting their conversation short.
David hasn’t told anyone about the rape while Josh is keen to throw Shona off the scent of what really happened.
After David realised he had been sexually assaulted, he tried to confront Josh but was left confused when he told him it was consensual.

The emotional hairdresser was then forced to deal with the wrath of his girlfriend, who was furious that he stayed out all night without getting in touch.
And he upset her further by not listening to what she was saying focusing instead on getting himself cleaned up.

Although Josh manipulated the pair into making up after he told Shona not to be hard on her boyfriend as he was just upset his dad Martin was planning to move to New Zealand and just wanted to have a night out with his mate.
A spokesperson for ITV said: “We film so far in advance that we never comment on pap pics.”
