Coronation Street’s Josh to target vulnerable female in Weatherfield

His reign of terror has only just begun

Corrie newcomer Josh Tucker could prove to have a mind as sick and twisted as Pat Phelan, judging by the latest plot developments.

He has already raped David Platt in a sickeningly premeditated drug assault, and there are now fears that he will set his sights on Chesney Brown.

But the rapist will also drag another innocent party into his disturbed world, when David threatens to expose him.

The manipulative psycho will work his charms on Alya, apparently believing that having a female love interest in his life will make David’s accusations less believable…

Next week, viewers will see the devastating consequences of the attack on David properly take their toll.

No longer able to deal with being in a relationship with Shona, while he feels unable to open up about what’s happened to him, he decides to dump her.

When Josh later corners him in the yard at the Rovers, and tries to intimidate him, David fires back.

And when David then sees Josh ‘pal’ing up to Chesney, he properly finds his fight.

But when David spots Josh flirting with Alya later, he’s shocked.

This when Josh drops his bombshell, telling David that having a girlfriend will mean the police aren’t likely to believe David’s claims about the rape.
