Corrie met Celebrity Catchphrase last night (February 19) as Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton made an appearance on the show.
The Sean Tully star appeared in a celebrity edition of the ITV game show for charity.
However, far from going down a storm with those at home, Antony left the show’s fans complaining about a habit of his they found particularly annoying.
He faced off against television presenter Stacey Dooley and former rugby player Matt Dawson in the game.
However, Antony seemed to enjoy himself a little too much.

Viewers were left begging him to stop shouting and screaming during the episode.

One said: “Stop shouting, Antony! #catchphrase”

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton reveals new contract
Recently Antony revealed he had signed a new contract for Corrie.
Speaking to Daily Star Sunday, Antony said: “I have just signed a new contract. I’ve always said that if they’re happy for me to be there, then I’m happy to be there. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
The actor also explained he felt very lucky to have a job and said Corrie is like a giant family.
Antony also teased a big storyline for Sean now restrictions for TV shows have started to ease.
He said: “There are stories we tried to do, but in the end we couldn’t because of the pandemic. So now they will happen over the next year.
“I have a very big, dramatic storyline that I’m hoping we can pick up and do properly.”

Antony added that they’re getting back into the swing of things now and is looking forward to the next year.
However as yet there has been no sign of his big storyline.
