Corrie fans in hysterics over hilarious bar brawl as the Connors took on the Battersbys!

Fists were flying - and so were the drinks!

It all got a bit tasty in the Rovers during last night’s episode of Coronation Street, as Michelle and Carla Connor ended up in a bar brawl with Leanne and Toyah Battersby.

Since Carla sauntered back on to the cobbles at Christmas, Toyah’s been worried that Peter’s up to no good with his ex.

So she’s had her claws out every time she’s crossed paths with Ms Connor.

Last night, though, thanks to a bit of intervention from Roy, the Connors – Michelle and Carla – and the Battersbys – Leanne and Toyah – sat down together over a cup of tea and a Belgian bun.

And – for a while at least – it looked as though peace had broken out.

“We realised what a lot we had in common,” Toyah told Peter – who looked uncomfortable as he realised that she probably meant him.

But when the women hit the Rovers things started to go wrong. Michelle overheard Toyah telling Leanne she was faking her friendly approach to Carla.

“You don’t think I like the cow, do you?” she said. “I’m only pretending to keep an eye on her.”

Furious, Michelle chucked a pint over Toyah.

And it all went a bit crazy!

Leanne gave Michelle a dousing in beer, then Carla drowned Toyah, and finally Toyah chucked a pint over Carla, too.

Peter – watching from behind the bar – was horrified. But the fans LOVED it!

“I’m living for the women fighting in the pub,” wrote one fan.

“That fight was the best thing ever,” agreed another. And another added: “Nowt better than a Corrie cat fight!”

Even Corrie stars themselves were loving the action.

Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny, wrote: “Love, love, love a good beer fight!”

We definitely agree!
