But there was only one thing that Corrie fans were really talking about tonight – and that was the fact that Robert Preston had clearly been unable to get hold of any black hair dye in prison.
Michelle Connor’s boyfriend is currently serving time after assaulting an old acquaintance, believing he had been terrorising the couple.
We said at the time, the stalking ordeal was enough to turn anyone’s hair grey – and it seems like it really was in Robert’s case.
Michelle, played by Kym Marsh, referenced the change in appearance when she called Robert a ‘silver fox’.
But viewers just couldn’t cope with the change of image – or the fact that there was clearly a gents’ stylist on Robert’s prison wing.
