Carla Connor is going to have an emotional breakdown this week in Coronation Street.
The former factory owner is struggling to hold herself together after the suicide of her brother Aidan Connor, and it becomes clear this week that she blames herself for his tragic death.
Viewers watched weeks ago as it was revealed Aidan had taken his own life.
He had spent months hiding his battle with depression until it all became too much.
But now the soap is going to show the heartbreaking aftermath as Carla tries to understand why he did what he did.

In a spoiler clip posted to the soap’s website, Carla breaks down in Michelle Connor’s arms.
She says: “All I did by handing over Underworld to Aidan was give him a whole lot of stress.
“What if it pushed him over the edge?
“Why didn’t I see it? He gave me life, Chelle, he gave me life and I couldn’t help him.
“I couldn’t save him.”
It was revealed shortly after Aidan’s death how he had originally planned to take his own life months ago but stopped after discovering his sister was dying of kidney failure.
He instead opted to donate one of his kidneys so she could survive, and quickly retrieved the letter he sent to his family when he had planned to take his own life.
But because of this Carla has become convinced it is all her fault and is blaming herself for dad Johnny’s grief and pain too.
She tells Michelle: “I’m just trying to think, just trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together so I can understand why.

“So I can help Johnny understand why.”
She adds: “I didn’t say anything, I wish I’d said something right at the end. Why didn’t I tell him I loved him?”
With Aidan’s funeral set to take place in just weeks, Carla and the entire family have more horror to get through before that.
