Corrie SPOILER: Gary kidnaps Phelan!

He ties up the villain and brings him back to Weatherfield

| Updated:

We love Gary Windass but, let’s be honest, he’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the Coronation Street box. He proves this next week when he actually brings killer Pat Phelan back to Weatherfield. Why Gary, why?

At the end of this week we’ll see Gary and his mate Joe track the killer builder down to a caravan park in Wales and as Corrie’s week of late night specials kicks off, the boys will break into Pat’s van.

When Phelan  finds them a fight breaks out and Joe manages to knock him unconscious. They then bundle the comatose killer into Joe’s van and head back to Weatherfield.

Gary leaves a bound and gagged Phelan in the storeroom at the builder’s yard, but when Sarah Platt finds out what her gormless fella has done, she goes crazy.

Meanwhile, back at the builder’s yard, Phelan has come round and Kevin Webster’s son, Jack, has snuck in. It’s not long before he finds Phelan who offers him money to cut him free!

Luckily Sarah and Gary get back in time and stop Jack as he’s struggling to cut through Phelan’s binds. They send him on his way and make him promise not to tell anyone.

But Phelan is no dummy and he soon manages to push Gary’s buttons when he makes some horrible comments about Anna, who’s still languishing in prison after Phelan framed her for GBH.

Livid, Gary violently attacks Phelan but suddenly the murderer rears up and throws a table at Gary. He then makes his way into the builder’s yard where he grabs a gun he’s stashed there previously.

After tying Gary and Sarah up, he then heads to Coronation Street where he shocks wife Eileen Grimshaw and daughter Nicola Rubinstein as he forces his way into No.11 with his gun!

But as a shot rings out from the house – who has been shot? And how much of an ear-bashing will Sarah be giving Gary for bringing the villain back to Weatherfield?
