Coronation Street star, Sam Aston, has hinted that there could be a shocking split coming up for his character Chesney Brown and current girlfriend, Sinead Tinker.
The couple are set to tie the knot in the New Year, but Sam has already hinted that it might not be a case of happily ever after for the on and off lovers.

Not that you have to be Sherlock to work that one out, with Sinead (Katie McGlynn) recently confessing to ex-love, Daniel Osbourne, that she still has feelings for him.
Next week Chesney surprises Sinead by popping the question to her in the Bistro and, we’ve seen paparazzi pics of the wedding, so we know it goes ahead.
But it could be a short-lived marriage, judging by what Sam has revealed about the impending nuptials.
He said: “They are great together and make a good couple, but I think their relationship is doomed because she has gone off with Daniel before so she has made Chesney paranoid.
“Chesney is constantly watching his back. But he does love her, so you never know?”
Their relationship has also been put under strain since the arrival of Ches’ son, Joseph, who has been living with them since his mother, Katy Armstrong, died in Portugal last month.
While Chesney has been working hard at both the chip shop and the kebab shop, Sinead has taken on the role of Joseph’s primary carer – and she’s not exactly loved it.
Looking after a grieving five-year-old has seen Sinead become increasingly stressed and she recently ditched Joseph with his aunt Izzy, so she could go day drinking with Beth.
Sinead then ended up in Daniel’s flat as he tried to sober her up before she had to collect Joseph, but tragedy almost struck when the tot ran out into the road, narrowly avoiding being hit by Kate in the Bistro van.
If Sinead does end up ditching Ches for Daniel, Sam says that Corrie fans have already paired him up with another cast member.
He said: “There are people who want Chesney and Gemma to get together! Chesney and Gemma had their duo in the kebab shop, having a laugh, and people warmed to their characters.

“I think it would be funny because Gemma is the complete opposite to Chesney, she’s almost a Cilla. She’s wacky and full on and Chesney tones her down a bit.”
