Earlier this month it was claimed that actor Kelvin Fletcher ditched another high-profile reality show to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
None other than Gemma Collins was the one to spill the beans as she joined Lorraine to chat about all things showbiz.
The reality star revealed: “Well, I’ve got gossip Lorraine.”
She went on to explain that Kelvin had apparently been due to take part in Dancing On Ice 2020.
However, after Jamie Laing was injured and forced to pull out of Strictly, Kelvin defected to the BBC show.

Gemma revealed of Kelvin: “He was apparently meant to be doing Dancing On Ice, then Jamie – bless him – hurt his foot.”
The GC explained that show bosses “called him up” and, she revealed: “He said: ‘I’m going to Strictly.'”
Kelvin was jokingly branded a “turncoat” by fellow guest, journalist Dan Wooton.
The Sun has subsequently claimed that Kelvin’s spot on Dancing On Ice has now been filled by magician Ben Hanlin.
The show’s Twitter account teased his appearance this weekend.

A source told the tabloid: “Ben is absolutely thrilled because this is his biggest break in TV and marks a huge showbiz comeback for him.
“He fronted three series of ITV2’s Tricked but he hasn’t been on telly for a while now. To say he’s excited is an understatement. He can’t wait to bring some magic to the show.”

Gemma also admitted that she is desperate to go on Strictly next year, having competed in Dancing On Ice earlier this year.
She added: “I did love doing Dancing On Ice. They’re really backing me the BBC, so hopefully next year. You never know.”
Kelvin absolutely smashed his first routine on the first live show of this year’s Strictly, performing a sizzling Samba with partner Oti Mabuse.
