TV history has reportedly been made by ITV pairing a same-sex couple on the upcoming series of Dancing On Ice.
The show is due to start in January 2020, with Steps singer H rumoured to be pairing up with professional skater Matt Evers.
The move follows years of speculation about having same-sex couples compete on dance shows and beats BBC rivals Strictly Come Dancing to the television landmark.
H – real name Ian Watkins – reportedly asked DOI bosses to pair him with a male skater.
And The Sun says the “fully supportive” team granted his request.

A source revealed: “After conversations with the Dancing On Ice production team, H enquired as to the possibility of being paired with a male pro skater.”
They added: “Bosses at Dancing On Ice are fully supportive of a same-sex partnership, so this year H will be paired with Matt.”
Now bosses hope the “huge moment in TV history” might “start a trend”.

Ent Daily contacted ITV for a comment.
They said: “We won’t be commenting on speculation around the Dancing On Ice pairings until closer to the new series in 2020.”
Matt was last year paired with Gemma Collins, who recently announced she’d be making a return for the show’s Christmas special.
H was last seen practising his ice moves with skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
