We’ve been extremely excited about the new series of Dancing on Ice ever since it was announced a couple of months ago.
And our excitement has gone into overdrive since seeing the adorable first trailer for the upcoming series!
The promo was released over Twitter last night, and features a sweet animated story about a polar bear learning how to navigate a frozen lake.
He starts off very wobbly on his paws, but with the help of a polar pal they’re soon whizzing round like Torvill and Dean in their heyday.
Even finishing up with a spin that has all the watching woodland critters in awe.
Viewers were absolutely loving it, with one writing: “This is the ad John Lewis should have made. Fantastic.”

Another said: “Great job to whoever did this advert! It’s so cute and perfect!”
At one point, three animated squirrels who are watching on hold up hilarious boards signalling a perfect 10 score.
The new series, which is set to air in January, sees 12 celebrities don ice skates to impress the panel of judges.
Torvill and Dean will be taking seats at the table, alongside show fave Jason Gardiner and Diversity’s Ashley Banjo.
Celebs taking to the ice include Love Island’s Kem Cetinay – newly single after announcing his split with Amber Davies.

Joining him will be Great British Bake Off 2016 winner Candice Brown, Brooke Vincent and a host of other well-known faces.
And most excitingly, Holly and Phil will be back on presenting duty, keeping us up to date with all the news from the ice. Can’t wait!
