If you’re wondering how the Dancing On Ice contestants are getting on with their training for the forthcoming series of the ITV show… well, just think of Bambi and you’ll be along the right lines!
We’re kidding – most of the hopefuls are actually looking pretty competent as they become accustomed to gliding across the frozen stuff.
However, one of the celebrity skaters was almost left red-faced while trying to pull off a manoeuvre on the ice rink.
A new teaser video has been launched by ITV, and judging by what we saw on it, the new series should be funny and fascinating in equal measures.
Watching the celebrities try and emulate skating stars such as Torvill and Dean – who’ll be judging this series – had us in stitches.
Though TV presenter Donna Air revealed that she was “terrified of breaking something”, thankfully nobody has been rushed to A&E yet.
However, one reality star almost suffered from shattered pride after a very near miss on the ice.
Cast your mind back to last year’s Great British Bake Off and you’ll recall that Candice Brown was a picture of confidence in the kitchen.
However, it would appear that she’s not got quite the same level of self-assurance on the ice rink – at least not yet.

At one point in the video, she was seen steadying herself before she uttered the words: “I almost weed myself then.”
And the 32-year-old further bruised her image when she told the camera: “I’m trying my hardest to be elegant, but I may be more like a hippo in a tutu.”
All of the celebrities were refreshingly honest in the video. And while Donna Air seemed relatively confident in the skating footage, she admitted that she fears for her health.
The 38-year-old appeared on ITV’s springboard-diving show Splash! in 2013, but she said: “Ice skating is a sort of dream. I’m so, so glad that I’m doing this show – I’m just terrified of breaking something.”

Like Donna, Corrie actor Anthony Cotton has plenty of reality TV experience under his belt. The 42-year-old finished fourth in the 2011 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
But judging by the Dancing On Ice video, he’s been having second thoughts about this particular gig.
He admitted: “I did wake up this morning thinking: ‘What on Earth are you doing?’ I hate the cold.”
Other stars taking part in the series include Love Island star Kem Cetinay, Bucks Fizz singer Cheryl Baker, rugby player Max Evans and athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton.
The action begins on 7th January – let’s hope Candice’s bladder can hold out that long.
