Dancing On Ice contestant Donna Air has reportedly ditched her posh Chelsea twang and reverted back to her Georgie accent in an attempt to win viewers’ votes.
According to The Sun, the 38-year-old thinks that going back to her original Georgie roots will make her sound more down-to-earth on the ITV skating show.
The socialite, who has been accused of ‘poshing up’ her accent since she started dating James Middleton – brother of the Duchess of Cambridge – back in 2013.

Donna is set to skate for the first time tonight with professional skating partner, Mark Hanretty – but it seems instead of all eyes being on her fancy footwork, people are going to be more interested on how she sounds.
A source told The Sun: “It’s very odd, Donna would go from super-posh one minute to more like she was back on Byker Grove the next.
“Maybe she’s aware fellow Newcastle lasses, like Cheryl Cole and Vicky Pattinson, have done very well on reality TV shows.”
The newspaper has even gone as far as consulting a language expert on the matter.
The expert has claimed that there is a marked change in the way Donna speaks from a TV appearance on ITV’s This Morning in 2016, to the Dancing On Ice opening show last weekend.
Geoff Lindsey, of the English Speech Service, told the paper: “Her voice now contains much more of the Geordie vowels.”
The actress-turned-TV presenter has recently revealed that she’s “terrified” about appearing on the reality TV show – admitting she was worried that she might possibly suffer serious injury on the ice.
But one thing she doesnt have to worry about is being subjected to the most dangerous ice move of all… the headbanger.
According to The Mirror, the star has been banned from performing the daring move because she’s apparently too tall.
The show hasn’t got off to the best of starts for Donna after her ice skates were stolen from her car on Monday night.
Each contestant on the show has their own, personalised, pair of skates for the show – each moulded to their feet and impossible to just replace.
