Max Evans’ skating partner, Ale Izquierdo, was taken to hospital yesterday following a nasty fall during training.
The pair were practising their routine for tonight’s live show when the accident happened.
Pictures show the moment that Ale fell from Max’s arms while they were attempting a tricky lift – landing awkwardly and hitting her head on the ice.
There have been plenty of accidents during the current series of Dancing On Ice, but this one looked particularly bad.

Paramedics were called to check the professional skater over, and ITV have confirmed to Digital Spy that she was then taken to hospital for further checks.
Ale was back home yesterday evening however, having been told to rest and recover for 24 hours.
It is hoped that she will be better for tonight’s show where the couple are set to skate once again to keep their place in the competition.
The question is, will they be able to complete their skating routine without any more dramas?
The growing list of injuries on Dancing On Ice is enough to put off future contestants, which is bad news for the show seeing as it has been confirmed that the series will continue in 2019.
Co-presenter Phillip Schofield announced that the series would hit our screens next year during an announcement on This Morning last week…
“We can exclusively announce that it has been rebooked, recommissioned, rebought for another series next year,” he revealed.
“So we will be back next year.”
