It’s only been back on air for one week but Dancing On Ice must have another revamp after one of their stars has quit the show.
It’s not one of the professional dancers or celebrity skaters but commentator Mark Chapman who has announced Sunday’s show was both his first and last.
The racing commentator told The Sun: “I’ve decided to hang up my skates, leave the rink and return to the turf and I wish the show the best of luck for the rest of the run.”
ITV then said in a statement: “We can confirm that Matt Chapman has left the show, and wish him all the very best and look forward to him reporting at ITV Racing at Warwick this weekend.”
Matt’s early exit comes after fans took to Twitter on Sunday to complain about his voiceover work.
Complaints included that he was “annoying,” “awful” and “needed to calm down”. One even said he was “spoiling” the show for them.
Matt, who appeared to be loving his time on the show when sharing selfies of himself with the stars on Twitter, initially took the criticism in good humour.
He tweeted on Sunday: “Quite a night. And for those thinking: “Who the hell was that?” Will try win you over in next 9 shows! #life #fun #newchallenge.”
He was offered the job following the death of commentator Tony Gubba who was previously a much-loved part of the show.

But now a Dancing On Ice source has told The Sun Mark has reconsidered his position and he’s going to stick to what he does best commentating on horse racing for ITV.
They said: “Matt decided he couldn’t make his diary work as he thought. He’s a big character and a talented sports commentator but he had some mixed reviews in the first show, and he told ITV that perhaps it wasn’t for him after all.
“It was always going to be a big gig following Tony who did eight series before he died in 2013.
“After Sunday’s show Matt told producers they would have to look elsewhere for a commentator for the rest of the series.”

Now the hunt on for a new commentator to take over on Sunday’s show, where the remaining six celeb skaters will perform for the first time.
Whoever receives the lowest score will face Candice Brown in the skate-off.
