Sunday night’s live launch show of Dancing On Ice has been thrown into jeopardy thanks to a bout of the flu.
According to the Daily Star, three of the show’s celebrity skaters, as well as a number of crew members, have been hit by the bug as Aussie Flu sweeps the nation.
Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Waring, Good Morning Britain weatherman, Alex Beresford, and Bake Off’s Candice Brown have all been fighting the germs with flu remedies in a bid to get better for the show’s launch.

It has even been reported that there are fears the show could be cursed thanks to the number of mishaps that have occurred since ITV bought it back after being axed in 2014.
Earlier in the week Storm Eleanor damaged the new purpose-built studios at Bovingdon Airfield in Hemel Hempstead, leaving builders working around the clock to repair them before tomorrow night’s show.
While cricketer Monty Panesar was forced out of competing following an ankle fracture that he got during training just before Christmas – leading to singer Lemar stepping in and replacing him at the last minute.
A source told the newspaper, “There’s clearly some kind of curse going on here.”
