Dani Dyer has spoken out on the difficulties of having a relationship while in the public eye following her split from Jack Fincham.
Appearing on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, Dani told the presenters that the relationship had been “really tough” and that living in the Love Island Villa had been like living in a ‘bubble.’
“It’s really tough having a relationship in the public eye because you sort of go from one thing to another.
“You’re in such a bubble and everything’s so perfect, then you come out [of Love Island] and you’re like, ‘OK, this is real.'”
The 22-year-old actress and reality star insisted that she’d remain friends with Jack.
“We broke up earlier this week. It’s just one of those things, isn’t it? I’m OK. As well as you can be. We’ll always remain friends and stuff,” she said.

She went on to discuss how she handles social media trolls, and revealed her dad, hardman actor and EastEndersstar Danny Dyer, gave her some useful advice.
“My dad tells me not to bite… because I want to reply. But I just do the deleting and the blocking a lot.
“I don’t think you should sit on your phone all day looking at what people are saying about you, because then you think, ‘oh he doesn’t like me’ or ‘she doesn’t like me’, and it really does play on your mind.”
And as for how Danny coped with his daughter on the often times headline-grabbing and rather scandalous reality show that is Love Island, she said it had indeed been ‘a rollercoaster’ for him.
“I don’t think any dad’s going to clap and go: ‘Yay, my daughter’s going on Love Island.’ It was a good job they won a BAFTA because that sort of gave it a bit of credibility for him.
“He went through a bit of a rollercoaster with it but now he’s happy.”

2018 winners Dani and Jack appeared to be on-and-off in their relationship status these past months, but Jack put the nail in the coffin just days ago when he announced via an Instagram story that they’d officially broken up.
Posting on the social media site on Wednesday April 3, the 27-year-old former stationery salesman wrote: “There is no easy way to say this and it isn’t going to be an easy time but me and Dani are not in a relationship anymore.
“We will always care a lot for each other and have love for each other and I mean that from the bottom of my heart and I wish her nothing but happiness.”
