Danny John-Jules has slapped down motormouth Strictly dancer James Jordan after the gobby former show pro abused the actor’s mum on Twitter.
James, 40, labelled the Red Dwarf star’s parent “miserable” in the misguided tweet – but backtracked after Danny and his fans angrily confronted him on social media.
Having tagged his post with a crying laughing emoji, James – axed from Strictly in 2014 after eight years – later deleted the message.
But he did not escape Danny’s fury who sarcastically clapped James’ low shot at his dear mum, who suffers from Alzheimer’s.

The row was instigated after James reportedly described Danny’s elderly mum as looking “as miserable as him” when she was shown on screen in the studio audience.
And dancer James was left flat-footed earlier today when taken to task over his “out of order” comments by Danny’s wife.
“You know nothing about our personal lives! That is below the belt!” she fumed.
Denying he was attacking anyone, James insisted the 82-year-old “did look miserable when the camera was on her” but suggested she was probably “a lovely lady” directly afterwards.

“No malice intended,” he offered weakly.
And then James seemed to dismiss his own poor attempt at an apology by adding: “Everyone gets offended over everything nowadays.”
Unsurprisingly, Danny did not seem particularly impressed with James’ explanation.
“So you take the [blank] out of an 82-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s?” he asked.
I just stated facts… said what everyone was thinking.

Answering his own question, he mocked James with the hashtag: “#Bigman.”
And following an apparent DM exchange with Danny’s wife, James took a patronising tone as he pressed to have the final word.
“Remember Danny I have a lot of friends on Strictly so please stop using this to overshadow the person you are,” James haughtily tweeted.
Danny, 58 – tipped to be chopped from Strictly in tonight’s results show – recently claimed to be the victim of a Strictly stitch up.

Accusing the show of a vendetta against him after he finished bottom of the leaderboard last night, Danny made headlines throughout week after reportedly leaving professional partner Amy Dowden in tears during training and telling her: “I’m the star, not you.”
