He had filmed for the show at the beginning of May, hoping to prove to his partner Jane that he had not been unfaithful.
But he failed the lie detector test and was apparently left humiliated and traumatised by the experience.
Mr Dymond and his partner split as a consequence, and he was found dead at his home last Thursday.
Ms Healing married Mr Dymond in 2004, but they split four months later, she claims, after he was arrested over allegations he was a paedophile.
He was reportedly questioned by police but not charged with any offence.
She alleges: “He killed himself because he was frightened of the truth coming out — the truth that he sexually molested a child.
“Seeing all the coverage has brought back the trauma. Seeing how people feel sorry for him, it’s soul-destroying.
“It was disgusting and vile what he did and he was a prolific liar.”
