Fans of reality show Don’t Tell The Bride, might want to look away.
What we’re about to tell you may break your heart!
The popular show, which sees soon-to-be-grooms trying to arrange their wedding on a budget, is FAKE.

The couples getting hitched do NOT actually get married on the show.
It turns out that because of the premise of the series brides don’t get to see the venue, which apparently means the weddings are not legally binding.
Which means that even though viewers get to see the groom organising the big day and eventually the couple tie the knot in front of their nearest and dearest, what they’re seeing is more like a dress rehearsal and is just for the cameras.
Couples are told they must hold a separate wedding to make everything legal.
An unnamed groom from the show (not featured in any of these pictures) told The Sun: “It was written into our contract that our ceremony would not be legally binding and so we should go to a register office later.
“That is what we did.
“But we had no follow up from anyone from the show after the filming, so we could easily have avoided it and had the party for free.”

The disgruntled groom added: “It makes a bit of a mockery of the process that the bride and groom go through this huge ordeal for a ceremony which isn’t even legal.”
A spokeswoman for the show, which started life on BBC3 and have recently moved from Sky E4, said: “All contributors sign notice to marry for their legal ceremony in the presence of a production team member but before filming starts.
“An update or photos from this legal ceremony is shown at the end of each episode.”
