Dr Scott Miller became teary as he revealed his beloved dog has died on today’s This Morning.
The vet was on Friday’s show to offer his advice to pet owners on a range of different topics from his clinic.
Hosts Rochelle Humes and Alison Hammond offered their condolences to Scott after he lost his dog Betty.

Rochelle told him: “I’m so sorry to hear about your lovely Betty.”
What did Dr Scott say on This Morning?
Becoming tearful, Dr Scott said: “Aw thanks guys, yeah,” as a photo of Betty popped up on screen.
He continued: “Yeah, I’ve had a tough couple of days saying goodbye to my very special dog.
“Yeah, I just want to say thank you to everyone that’s sent supportive messages.
“She’s been with me for 14 years and as a vet it’s really hard to say goodbye to your own dogs.
“But yeah, she’s like one of my kids, so yeah, it’s been tough.”

Earlier this week, Dr Scott paid tribute to Betty on Instagram following her death.
He wrote: “I had to say goodbye to my beautiful friend of 14 years this evening, and my heart is broken.
“Betty I love you so much and am so grateful to have had you in my life. Run free my beautiful girl… I will love you forever.”
Fans offered their condolences to Dr Scott.
One person wrote: “Just saw on This Morning! Made me cry Scott! Soooo sorry about Betty! Worst thing ever losing a dog! Sending lots of love.”
Another commented: “Oh no Scott, I’m so so sorry to hear about your beautiful Betty!!
