Kat Moon is back in Albert Square this month – without husband Alfie.
But it seems Mrs Moon won’t be alone for long, if former EastEnders star Nicholas Bailey has anything to do with it.
Nicholas played Kat’s old flame Dr Anthony Trueman and he says he’s ready for a return to the Square!
We’ve not seen Dr T in Walford since 2014 when he returned to look after his dad, Patrick after he suffered a stroke.
But Anthony didn’t stick around because he said he couldn’t care for Patrick after he wasn’t there for him growing up. Instead he wrote Denise a cheque to cover his dad’s care, and legged it back to his home in Scotland.
Now, though, Nicholas says he’ll return to EastEnders if he’s asked.
“Things were left up in the air with Patrick and the way Anthony behaved,” Nicholas told Express.co.uk.

“There’s stories to tell.”
And he added: “The producers know where to find me.”
Anthony had romances with Kat and her daughter Zoe, so he’d definitely stir things up in the Square.
And perhaps he could provide Mrs Moon with a shoulder to cry on. After all, we’ve no idea why she’s arriving back in Walford without husband Alfie.

Have the Moons split? Or has Alfie died? We last saw him flatlining on the operating table in Enders spin-off Redwater.
Thankfully we don’t have long to wait to find out – though it looks like we might have to wait a bit longer until we see Dr Trueman back in the Square.
