Ex-Love Islander Jordan Hames says he has “no regrets” despite going behind girlfriend Anna Vakili’s back to tell another girl he likes her, and he hopes he and Anna can still be friends.
Jordan’s revelation comes after he and Anna were dumped from the villa last night (July 24) along with Chris Taylor and Harley Brash.
Jordan caused havoc between himself and Anna this week when he decided to tell India Reynolds he had feelings for her, before letting Anna know. They subsequently broke up, two days after he asked Anna to be his girlfriend.
Since leaving the villa, Anna has said she thinks Jordan’s behaviour is the “worst in Love Island history.” However, Jordan seems to think they can smooth things over.
He told The Sun Online: “I don’t regret anything that I have done in the villa because everything that I have done was based on how I was feeling at that time. Your emotions can change quick.”
Jordan went on to insist he wasn’t being fake when he asked Anna to be his girlfriend in the villa, he says his feelings changed.
He explained: “Anna is a beautiful girl and has a lot of the traits I was looking for, so when I asked her to be my girlfriend that was 100 per cent how I was feeling. I was loyal to Anna the whole way through. If I was fake I wouldn’t have stayed loyal in Casa Amor and I wouldn’t have made her my girlfriend.”
Pharmacist Anna left Jordan for Ovie when she went over to Casa Amor, but she soon went back to Jordan when she realised their connection was stronger.
Jordan admits if he had the chance again, he would approach things differently with Anna and India.
He went on: “I understand I haven’t gone about it in the right way but I apologise for that. I am only human and I make mistakes. I am sure I am not the only person in the world to have made mistakes. I feel like if I could do it again I would speak to Anna first.”
The model thinks the tension will blow over in time and that he and Anna could still be friends, despite her saying she wants nothing more to do with him.

He confessed: “I think based on everything that has happened, me and Anna are best of as friends. In the future we will be civil with each other and see where it goes from there.”
