Eagle-Eyed Emmerdale fans spot embarrassing blunder at Bob Hope’s cafe

Did you spot it?

Emmerdale fans were left wondering if the soap has a different time zone to the rest of us, after spotting a bit of a blunder on screen.

And some parents had a lot of explaining to do to their disappointed kids, who thought they’d have to wait another three weeks until Easter!

It’s okay everyone, Easter Sunday really is on April 1 this year – not the 20th as Emmerdale would have us believe!

You can’t get much past TV viewers, who were quick to spot a poster for an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday – which was marked as 20th April. Three weeks later than it actually is this year.

That’s a long time to wait for chocolate!

Bemused fans gathered on social media to inform the ITV soap of their little slip up! But it was all in good humour.

One wrote: “Only my daughter would ask why Easter is advertised on the wrong date. She wants me to tell you it’s on April 1st.”

Another queried: “There’s a sign in the cafe in #Emmerdale for an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday 20th April…… When is Easter?”

One blamed the cafe owners, saying: “Tell Bob and Brenda the poster in the cafe for the Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday has the wrong date on it!!!”

Something tells us these Emmerdale viewers would be VERY good at an Easter egg hunt – as they can spot a mistake from a mile away!

It’s good to keep the soap on its toes, though, right?
