Eamonn Holmes, presenting This Morning alongside wife Ruth Langsford today, made an inappropriate remark just minutes after hosting a discussion about sexual harassment in Westminster.
Former Conservative MP Edwina Currie and Labour’s Lisa Nandy appeared on the show first thing to discuss the ongoing scandal in Westminster.

A bit later on in the show, The One Show presenter Alex Jones appeared to talk about her new series The Secrets In My Family, but chat quickly turned to Ruth’s appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
As Alex wished her luck on the show Ruth and Eamonn praised the presenter’s own appearance on the dance contestant.
Alex was partnered with James Jordan in the 2011 series and This Morning then showed an image of her in costume for one of the Latin dances.
She reached the semi-final, and quipped to Eamonn and Ruth: “I don’t know how that happened!”
“It might have something to do with those legs,” Eamonn replied quick as a flash.
Given the discussion they’d had earlier, the comment could be deemed inappropriate. Some fans thought so as they went on Twitter.
“Was Eamonn Holmes’ comment about Alex Jones’ legs an inappropriate remark?” asked one, with several people replying “yes” and one saying “yes and you could tell by Ruth’s expression she wasn’t pleased.”
Another person tweeted: “Eamonn perving on Alex Jones legs right in front of his wife #awkward.”

Eamonn was also in trouble with viewers for “belittling” Ruth during the conversation.
As Alex wished Ruth luck for the weekend, Eamonn said: “She’ll need it.”
He then told her to get up and do some of her Paso Doble skirt swishing, but she refused, embarrassed.
Fans weren’t impressed with the way he spoke to his wife.
