The huge mystery about whether EastEnders’ Kim and Denise Fox were actually sisters has finally been resolved – and fans are loving it!
The pair have always thought they were half sisters, sharing the same mother, Emerald Fox.
But when Emerald paid the women a visit last year, their lives were turned upside down when she dropped the bombshell that they weren’t actually related.
But instead of doing a DNA test right there and then, both Kim and Denise decided that it didn’t matter if they were blood related or not – they were sisters all the same.

However, Kim recently decided that she needed to know the truth, and roped Denise’s fiancé Kush into her plan to do a DNA test without Denise knowing.
But when the results finally came though the door – viewers thought they were about to find out the truth at last… only for Kim’s daughter, Pearl, to hide the letter.
Thankfully, Kim discovered the envelope last night and it was finally revealed that the pair were in fact sisters, and Emerald had been lying.
Although, the results of the letter didn’t come without it’s dramas, thanks to Kim and her bizarre greetings card mix up where Denise found a card telling her they weren’t related.
Thankfully that confusion was soon cleared up, and the moment of truth arrived.
But fans loved the revelation – in fact their reaction on Twitter was so huge we’re surprised they didn’t break the internet…
There was a moment where everyone thought that Kim and Denise weren’t related, thanks to Kim pretending that it was bad news. However, Kim burst out laughing revealed it was all a rouse.
She shouted: “I was kidding, I just wanted to see how much you cared.”
Talk about mean!

The sisters and Patrick then all jumped in the air and went for a massive group hug.
